Perhaps Blogitive Tax Issue was related to..

Saturday, July 28th, 2007

Bloggers are not employed by Blogitive. We are Freelance bloggers & get paid from clients which happen to include U.S. clients. I hope it all blows over soon & a solution is made for the Blogitive tax issue.

I intend to get the money I have earned & continue to get paid for my work even though the U.S. government may want non U.S. national to pay taxes to the U.S. government. Most importantly, for U.S. national or otherwise, is that we should receive our earned money.

Below was the email from Gail of Blogitive to clarify regarding the recent SSN & fill W-9 Tax from issue.

“Thank you for contacting us about the recent changes to the payment information requirements. Don’t worry — you don’t have to miraculously become a U.S. citizen in order to receive payments from Blogitive. :) As stated in our internal blog, we’re working on altering the form to accept a variety of addresses and stop requiring a SSN for non-U.S. citizens. For obvious reasons (being a US company and all), it was important for us to start gathering this information from U.S. bloggers first, so we pushed the form live as soon as it could do that. When changes are completed and everyone can update their information, we’ll let you know via blog post. Thanks for your patience, and happy blogging!”

Pin Number Issue of Malaysian Ambank ATMs

Wednesday, July 25th, 2007

When I bought the Ambank prepaid credit card (NexG), I got a pin number & I may have changed it once before on an Ambank ATM machine. Even back then, I was not sure whether I changed my pin number because the ATM machine kept giving me false leads & wrong pin number signs. Anyway, once our Ambank prepaid credit card is swallowed by the ATM machine then we got to buy a new card. More about My Ambank PCC Dilemma.

Fast Paypal Funds Transfer to My VMI debit card

Saturday, July 21st, 2007

My second Paypal Funds Transfer to My VMI debit card went surprisingly fast. I transferred on Sunday & on Tuesday was completed at Paypal. I expected to get my money on Thursday but instead I received my money to my VMI debit card on Wednesday. It is good news for me. So far so good that a verified VMI debit card is a viable option for Malaysian citizens to withdraw Paypal funds through local Malaysian ATMs. More on Virtual Money Inc debit card.
