Mouse & Microphone Headset as Birthday Present

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Recently I received a present from my younger sister for my birthday. It was a new computer mouse & a stereo headset with microphone. She asked me what I wanted for my birthday & I told her not to spend too much money on it. I mentioned to her that I could use a new computer mouse or a spare stereo headset with microphone. She got me both! It’s so nice of her. Thanks, lil’ sis!

On my own accord, I would not buy unbranded computer related peripherals. The usual stuff I would buy is from the likes of Logitech, A4tech, & etc. However, I have found that their stuff, well, at least the ones I bought don’t last as long as I expected them to last for the price. So, I may as well buy cheap stuff from relatively unknown China brands which is just as good as popular branded ones. Still got only a month warranty for the stuff regardless of them being popular brands or not!

Check it out! The image below is of my new eSonic computer mouse. It’s a little tight on the buttons & the infrared is a little unstable on my table top but hey, what do you expect for a $6 mouse? I know, like me, you have probably never heard of the brand eSonic. It’s a real ‘out of the loop’ kind of brand, correct?

eSonic….

Lol!

Ok, let us have another laugh. The image below is of my new TECOM super bass stereo headset with microphone.

Huh..What..TECOM?

Rofl!

Fantastic, now I have a stereo headset with microphone looking like the ones used in 70s by airport traffic controllers. Flight 707, you are now cleared for landing…

Lol!

Thanks Lil’ Sister. You made my day today! )))))

4 Tips to Having Your Event Going as Planned

Wednesday, December 31st, 2008

Obviously you would want to make everything go smoothly & even perfect by planning a grand event. Hard work is part & parcel of making sure things go the way that you want them to turn out. Still, do not let the event stress you. In order to do so, make sure you have the right materials & work ethic. Then you will have a good experience planning your event.

Below are 4 ways to ensure that the event goes the way you planned it:

1) Make a budget. Sticking to your budget means that you have a good start & something to follow through & not forced to go out of your way to pay for any extra cost. Also, a budget allows you to plan all that you have to spend on purchases.

2) Make a list. By having a list of all the materials & things you need for the event, then you are on your way to make the most out of your special occasion. Figure out all the different things that you need & move on, checking things off the list once you are done. That way, you have nothing undone & did not forget to do something in the first place. Soon enough you will realize that planning the event just got easier. It is beneficial to be organized & stay on track

3) Do make sure you have a lot of help so you can make the most out of the special day. Taking the challenge of running an event all on your own is foolhardy. Friends may help you as much as possible & you may want to hire extra hands to get everything done for you. Also, having a lot of help will ensure that an eye is kept on things during the event. Furthermore, any problems can be attempted to be fixed even before you know about it. Less stress is always good for you.

4) Patience is a key. Be calm so you can be ready to think of handling any problems that could arise. You will find that you will feel better & relaxed when you are in control of the situation. You will realize that you are having fun at your own party! Things that are out of your control cannot be helped but you can work through it & hope for the best.

Happy event planning & a Happy New Year 2009 to everybody!
