Have you seen an experienced professional photographer use a DSLR camera like a compact digital camera? Well, only when it’s a compact digital camera is in use. Even then, it’s possible to be doing the “photographer pose”. Nikon & Canon are still fixated by the “photographer pose” practice of many serious photographers. Olympus, Pentax, & Sony (only recently implemented) have for about a year, the live View function on DSLR cameras. All the aforementioned three manufacturers also put image stabilization function in their cameras. Nikon & Canon really are starting to look like stuff for the past generation unless they do something about it soon!
