Sony A350 DSLR Highest Megapixel Count

The Sony A350 is the higher megapixels version of the Sony A300 DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) camera. The Sony A300 has about 10 megapixels while the A350 has about 14 megapixels. Another differentiating feature of the A350 is that it has only 2.5 frames per second (fps) continuous shooting capability while the A300 has a decent 3 fps. Other features are pretty much the same.

Some of the Sony A350 DSLR camera features:

• Resolution: 14.2 megapixels
• Image stabilizer feature – Optical stabilization helps prevent blurry pictures, especially for handheld cameras at slow shutter speeds or when using high optical zoom.
• Max Shutter Speed 1/4000 sec
• Sensor Dust Reduction
• built-in wireless flash controller
• flip up LCD with Live View

The camera is priced about $200 more than the A300 so it’s quite a significant price to pay for 4 more megapixels & an inferior slower continuous shooting speed. A Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 (with 18-70mm lens) can be purchased online at B&H Photo-Video (bhphotovideo.com) for about $900.
