UV filters are useful to make your photos in the bright sunlight prettier. Also, you can use UV filters to protect the glass surface of your camera lens from stray projectiles that happen to be flying towards the lens in an incident. You can purchase the cheapest UV lens over at directphoto.com.my for about RM28 (about USD$8).

They are from the reputable HOYA brand of UV filters. There are many other types of UV filters available for sale at the store ranging from the cheapest to the more pricy PRO versions. Shopped in Direct Photo Thanks to Location Map

16 July, 2008 (03:24) | ME lighting equipment | By: a.i. editor

Recently I went shopping to buy my photo studio lighting equipment for my stock photography business. I had a few photo studio lighting equipment retailers in Kuala Lumpur to visit on my list. They include Direct Photo in Cheras, DigiColor at Jalan Ipoh, & well, not much else. So, I decided to visit Direct Photo in Cheras as the shop was the closest to me. Arriving to the shop was quite difficult for me because I had not been to the area for years; in fact, more than five years.

Direct Photo does provide a location map on its website (DirectPhoto.com.my) to make one’s life easier to find the shop. I admit; I got quite lost on the first try. Soon enough I was waiting in the comfortable sofa laden customer seating area in Direct Photo. When I arrived to the shop, I already saw one of their employees testing the Tianlai Golden Eagle light kit that I wanted to buy, how convenient for me. The employee suggested that I try the light kit & I found that it was good enough for the task at hand.
