Tianlai Golden Eagle: On the Brief

I had about five or more things to buy at the Direct Photo store so I had to wait about half an hour for some personal attention from the sales assistant currently out in the field. We talked about the light kit & he showed me the features. I got a flash trigger (valued at about MYR 140) for free in the Tianlai Golden Eagle three light kit package which cost MYR 1500. It’s a China brand but no problem for me as long as the quality is good. The light kit comes with 2 soft boxes, a barn door, a carrying bag, three halogen 50 watt bulbs, color filters, 3 stands, & a bit more.

I found everything to be OK when I installed the light kit in my photo studio except for one minor thing; a small fastener knob was missing. I bough a brand new never opened light kit & there is one little thing missing! Still, nothing to really complain about as it is not worth my hours to go to the shop just to pick up a small plastic fastener knob. I hope I can recall it when I do visit the shop again someday. It’s a decent place to shop; Direct Photo in Cheras, KL. Also, I was told by a customer that they sell the lowest priced Nikon cameras in KL! I can’t confirm it. I guess I may have to survey it someday.
